With thousands of schools closed by war, over 90% of Sudanese children lack education. Thanks to EU support, children in Sudan and neighboring countries are finding hope and learning again — proving education can survive even the toughest crises.

In the heart of Eastern Sudan, in the states of Kassala and Gedaref, communities have long faced the challenges of food insecurity, malnutrition, and economic hardship.
