Changing lives of young people in Kampala slums through the EU Trust Fund

With funding from the European Union Emergency Trust Fund (EUTF) for Africa, the European Union (EU) Delegation to Uganda, working with the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) is implementing a project in Kampala slum areas to fight radicalisation and create employment opportunities for slum dwellers.

Since August 2016, young men and women have benefited from improved livelihoods and skills. The project is being implemented in four slum neighbourhoods in Kampala (Kisenyi, Katwe, Kabalagala and Bwaise). In this video, they share their testimonies on how the project has successfully helped them improve skills and livelihoods.
