Research and evidence facility for the Sahel and Lake Chad and the North of Africa regions
The research and evidence facility has the objective of enhancing the knowledge and understanding of the root causes of instability, insecurity, irregular migration and forced displacement in West and North Africa and of migration routes, drivers and underlying factors, as well as analysing and disseminating the most effective policies and approaches to address and reduce them and improve migration management. The Facility is meant to fill the gaps of knowledge on a need-basis and it is complemented by the research components already embedded in the individual projects.
