An outbreak of violence in South Sudan in July 2016 re-inflamed conflict throughout the country, aggravating a dire humanitarian situation, and provoking a massive displacement of people. We aim to strengthen the resilience of the most vulnerable people in South Sudan affected by conflict, many of whom also find themselves suffering the effects of climate change, the combination of which has resulted in an alarming food security crisis. In particular, we are finding ways to improve the livelihoods of pastoralists, women and young people, and helping them to increase their food security and improve their access to education and health services.
