Amal, a refugee from Somalia, transformed her life and the Shader refugee camp by participating in the EU-funded STEDE program, opening a beautification and cosmetics shop that improved her family's livelihood and shifted her from aid dependency to self-reliance.

The project's primary objective is to uplift the lives of refugees and host communities by enhancing local capacity, creating livelihood opportunities, and improving access to basic services through the multifaceted impacts of energy.
