The first sign language video informing Moroccan returnees about their rights and services was made available recently through the EU-IOM Joint Initiative for Migrant Protection and Reintegration in North Africa.

Air and maritime borders continue to be partially opened, allowing for the organization of a limited number of returns from and to Morocco. According to the latest report of the EU-IOM Joint Initiative, 126 stranded migrants (72 men, 36 women, 8 boys and 10 girls) received voluntary return assistance to Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, Senegal, the Philippines and Congo. 209 stranded migrants (138 men, 36 women, 14 boys and 21 girls) registered for Assisted Voluntary Return (AVR); 130 migrants (66 men, 34 women,13 boys,17 girls) received direct assistance mostly in Rabat and Casablanca. 54 migrants received food and nutrition; 47 migrants received medical assistance; 6 migrants received housing assistance (3 men, 3 women); 12 migrants received non-food items; 34 migrants received transportation assistance.
