Today, the 30/07, is the World Day against Trafficking in Persons. To celebrate it, the EU-IOM Joint Initative releases video interviews produced with victims of trafficking sensitizing against the risks of irregular migration.

The witness of a victim of the Nigerian smuggling networks:

Hadiza is one of 50 community mobilizers in Niger that regularly sensitize migrants about the risks of irregular migration and its alternatives. However, only a few months ago, Hadiza was staying in one of the 30+ ghettos in Agadez, struggling to find the means to go back to Nigeria:
