Stability and socio-economic development for vulnerable and marginalised communities in the Tigray region of Ethiopia

This project aims to contribute to promoting stability and reconciliation, socio-economic development and greater self-reliance, in the Tigray region of Ethiopia. It will take a two-pronged approach with investments, on the one hand, in addressing local conflict and building social cohesion and, on the other in enhancing and diversifying livelihoods opportunities for local communities.

Main objectives

The overall objective of this action is to promote stability and socio-economic development in vulnerable and marginalised areas of the Tigray region, in Ethiopia.

The specific objectives are:
1. Promotion of peace building and conflict prevention among local populations living in peripheral areas of Tigray at regional, zonal, woreda and at community levels;
2. Improvement of socio-economic opportunities for the most vulnerable and marginalized populations of the Tigray region
